Sarah Holmes
Sarah is a femme dyke who is lucky to be "professionally gay" and believes in the transformative power of education and community. She's sexy and sweet, loves faggy dykes, octopuses, cheesy movies, the occasional sci fi story, bad network television and coffee.
Jill Barkley
Jill is a fierce femme-inist activist who works within the Domestic Violence movement in Maine to end relationship violence of all kinds. In her spare time, she passionately organizes in Portland's Queer community (most notably the Dyke March), attends graduate school, spends time with her families, loves her girlfriend and watches reality TV.
Former Committee Members
Melissa Heckman

Melissa is a queer high femme dyke who has been living in Portland Maine for about 8 years. She enjoys high heels, martinis, cheese, eyeliner, and butches. She dislikes George Bush, stoplights, and the 40 hour work week. This is her 3rd year working on the Dyke March committee.
Audrey Luce
Once upon a time Audrey was a Princess, reigning over all of Southern Maine Pride and more famously, a bartender at Sister's Dance Club. But she fell from grace and hid from the GLBT world. She was sad. Until one day, the Fairy Princesses of Portland's Dyke March asked her to become one of them. Now she is happy once again. Today she wears the hats of Certified Lighting Specialist at Fogg Lighting and co-founder of Pink Carpet Productions. She enjoys walks on the beach with her dog Burleigh (shown on right) and being a big strong Femme, as well as a pretty, pretty, Fairy Dyke Princess. Her favorite color is white. |
