G'gann and The Smokes

"The Smokes" are an all female rock band.  Their distinctive sound is made up of Mel Gosselin's smoking guitar, Ceejay Jones' talking bass, Linda Steven's pounding drums and features former lead singer for RCA recording artists "Giorgi and the Bad Girls" hip kickin lead vocalist Giorgi Baino.

Bunny Wonderland

Bunny Wonderland has been called one of Portland's Best Kept Secrets.  She has been performing locally and nationally for almost 4 years now. An AIDS activist, and the former Princess of Southern Maine Pride, she has most recently been seen at Geno's in The Red Light Revue and as a Special Guest Performer in the Annual USM Drag Show.  She also was a selected performer for the League of Young Voters' annual ReEmergence.  In 2007, she had the distinction of hosting Oberlin College's Drag Ball.  A favorite among dykes and queers all over, she reminds us that feminism has many faces.

Hurricane Bertha

Hurricane Bertha is an all lesbian pan-genre band that appeals to audiences of every stripe in, or out as it may be, of the rainbow. Hurricane Bertha started out as a  tropical depression in 2003 with songwriting musicians Bad Little Bertha and Big Bad Bertha, Jenny Garguillo and Loie Mellerup respectively. As hurricanes do, Bertha picked up force and speed when they sucked up two additional songwriter musicians, Babe Magnet Bertha (Nichole Cote) and Baby Dyke Bertha (Amy Dolloff). A range of musical instruments are incorporated into their songs from accordion and banjo to kazoos and tap shoes. They play their original sweet songs, love songs, sad songs, rap songs, angry songs, and last but not least, their naughty bits, funny and irreverent sing-along-songs that require the warning, "parental discretion is advised". Buckle your seat-belts, weather the storm, and you too can proudly claim: "I survived Hurricane Bertha!"
